Welcome to Gators Swim!

updated 09/7/26

Welcome to the website for the Great Hills, Jester Estates, and Lakewood Gators Swim Team! We are a neighborhood swim team located in northwest Austin, Texas.

Our swim season runs from May - June. Practices are held in Jester in May and Great Hills Country Club and Lakewood in June. Swimmers must attend at least 2 practices a week and we offer a variety of practice times to accommodate summer schedules.

There are 6 regular season swim meets on Saturday mornings starting in mid-May. Our season concludes with a championship meet the last weekend of June. Families are required to volunteer at meets to help us run a successful (and fast) event. CHAMPS meet attendance is strongly encouraged, read the eligibility requirements.

We anticipate registration opening February 1st. Tryouts for new swimmers will be in April. Please review our new swimmer requirements. New swimmers are highly encouraged to start swim lessons in the winter/spring to help prepare for summer swim! Check back in December or January for updates!
